Crud. I kinda wish I knew about this before I cancelled our flights, even though I knew they would have been canceled. I guess AA won this round from me. Plus, I won't even get to use all of the money up that we spent on the tickets already and am liable for any differences if the next trip costs more. That makes a person feel real good. Thanks, airline industry... *sigh*

Interesting. At 1:00 today JetBlue posted that they would waive change/cancel fees for travel through May 31st. When I looked at the flight schedule the flight we had booked, flight 873 has disappeared from the schedule. So I checked by confirmation under manage my trips and they have moved us to the 773 flight on the same day but 7:45 am.

I have not received notification of the change so I’m not sure if there has been a seat change. Flight is booked on points so not worried about any loss. Right now we’ll probably wait on cancelling.

We used our points for july to go to wedding in portland and then vegas. The worst that can happen is losing our points. We booked one way to aruba in november but haven’t booked coming home yet. Airlines suck!

I think if you book with points they just go back in your account if you cancel. I had to cancel a trip on American once and that's what happened.

That’s what JetBlue did the last time we had to cancel. Got the Important change email from JB at 6:00 this evening. Changed us to earlier flight (same day) and moved our seats from second row to first. I had a brief movement of thinking we MAY just get to go.

i JUST CHECKED JET BLUE. they have cancelled our flight from AUA to JFK on April 1. I have not received an email or text. So now I expect a refund and will have to re book a flight. What happens to the travel insurance I bought for three people??
