JetBlue opens flights through January, 2021

Just received an email from JetBlue stating they are opening up flights through January 4, 2021. No change or cancel fees on new flights booked through 4/30/20.

Should add that flight prices are considerably higher than in the past.

I'm disappointed in the limited options available for my area. For those that are Jet Blue regulars, do you see them adding routes later or is typically what they open with what it ends up being?

My feeling is given the current climate JetBlue, in all likelihood, will roll out their more lucrative routes first. In our area, out of Boston, they’re doing a daily 7:00 along with a 9:30 on certain days which is pretty much the norm. It’s still too early to tell. As for flight prices; the base price that I paid for our May trips cost 62,000 points plus taxes. The November flight today is 104,200 points. That’s a sizable difference.

They have not cancelled our May 5th flight so I’m still holding off on cancelling it or rescheduling for November. I haven’t yet decided what my ceiling will be when it comes to booking November.

I just chatted online with Jet Blue. I asked if they might add any additional flights to Aruba as there is only one direct flight on the day we are now scheduled to arrive in Aruba after changing our Divi reservation last week. The only flight available now is the 9:30 flight which arrives at 3:10 pm so we're lose basically a whole day. We've never left any later than 7:00 am since we started flying Jet Blue direct. The rep said that she can't say if they will add another flight. It would probably depend on demand. Right now the flight is almost double what we paid when we book the flights on Cyber Monday - yikes. I'm going to hold on until the end of April and see what's up.

I am considering Xmas/NYE with our sizable credit we have from Jetblue as going this summer is looking less and less likely by the day.

I called JetBlue yesterday and cancelled my May 3rd flight. I was on hold for approximately 35 minutes before they picked up. They said I could get a refund or put in my travel bank. I took the refund. They did not cancel my flight yet, but they changed my route from a direct flight from Ft. Lauderdale. They had me going from Florida to JFK, overnighting and then out in the morning. I was looking at flights for December and they seem high. I will wait to see what Southwest rolls out.
