    Requested a voucher from KLM

    We have very reluctantly decided not to travel this month. KLM will give us a voucher for the full value of our tickets so we will hope that it becomes possible for us to travel within the next 12 months.

    In our case travel to Aruba is a luxury experience and we feel that at present we would not expect to have a holiday which matched up to our previous trip. Business Class travel is normally a very enjoyable thing but now it is very much reduced to a point where it's not worth the cost.

    The fact that airport testing was our only option and the cost of the insurance which we did not need as we have insurance which covers us for Covid were minor factors in our decision as was the concern that a false positive test would ruin the holiday.
    what is best in life ?

    Sorry to hear you had to cancel. I agree with the premium class air statement, I just flew transcontinental in first class and the only difference was bigger seat and beer/wine option.
