I always laugh at the bread and milk thing. Why are THOSE the essentials? And why do people suddenly run out when snow is forecasted LOL

Even though we are warm in Aruba, at home they are expecting 6-12 inches (South Jersey) depending on who is making the prediction. We are supposed to have gale force winds. I am worried about my younger one and his commuting to and from work. I am hoping they tell him to stay home tonight or let him spend the day there( works 6pm to 6am) so he does not have to drive home where it will be worse than where he works. Not worried about the power because we had a whole house natural gas generator installed when we returned from Aruba last year just for reasons like this, although it did work when someone took out a telephone pole over the summer).

Update: It started snowing around 1 or 2 at home. My son called out because it was bad by the time he's have to leave for work.
