I am still wondering about the median strip on Irauqusin Blvd?
It was slated to be demolished, but from what I see on Lacabana Webcam, it looks like the street in that area is completed and the median is still there.

Someone posted on FB that they were ripping out the trees near Alhambra. Maybe since there are existing sidewalks near LaCabana they will work with them and leave the median but where there are no sidewalks pull out the median to move the road over to create sidewalks?

That might be possible..... I did read that the median was coming out due to the running/walking/linear path going in with the construction. I guess we wait to see.

I was on the fence again about renting a car after getting taxi quotes to get my son and I back and forth to/from Dakota for camp but after reading Ronnas piece has it cliched it despite the cost. It sure appears they did not plan well, lol.

Jay, I would not let the road work discourage you from driving. Whether you are diving or a taxi is driving, you'll still have the same issues. When are you going to Aruba and where is CJ's soccer camp?

We arrive on June 29 and depart on July 13th. His camp runs July 8-12th at the Trinidad stadium which appears to be within a mile of downtown.

Wow do I hate Boston driving, lol. I live in the burbs and seldom drive into Boston. The last was taking my friends from Aruba around town...and I quickly told them this is something I would do for almost nobody else...
