Aruba-roundabouts/rotaries/circles(NJ term) and speed bumps/plateaus sum up the driving experience.
I LOVE the Aruba roundabouts. Took maybe two trips around to figure out how they work. Have to say locals and tourists properly use them in my experience. Are they better then traffic lights? Maybe not but in some spots a lot quicker.
I prefer the roundabouts over stop lights. They really aren't that difficult to conquer, and they definitely speed things up. Number one rule in the roundabout, the person to the left has the right of way. Rule number two don't let them intimidate you, hold your ground!![]()
Not too much fun in the back of a taxi with the driver trying to text.... but I'd be fine navigating them being from MA..... where you signal nothing cuz that would give the other driver an unfair advantage.....!
A wise man never knows all......only fools know everything!
CP...I am from NH....and you know what we think of the drivers from MA (wink wink). Another reminder when using the roundabouts.....there is a yield sign at each entrance.....slow down and look! And please use your directional if you are staying in the roundabout...it may give the other driver an advantage...but it is an advantage that could save your life...or at a minimum ...save your vacation!
I like how Aruba gets everyone into the roundabout mode immediately.................right there at the airport entrance/exit.

I think we’ve been misunderstood. Take a look at this article that says Massachusetts has the best drivers
