November-December roll call

We have a few members planning on a visit in the November-December time frame. Are you going? Were you going but canceled? What are your dates? Anybody planning a forum get together?

We were scheduled for Thanksgiving week and part of the following week. That is my absolute favorite time to be in Aruba. We did, however, decide to cancel. At this point, I don’t believe we’ll be scheduling a May trip either. So... at least we have flexibility since we are retired. If circumstances change, we can always schedule something.

We are staying for 3 weeks in November at Amsterdam Manor. Rescheduled from April but was probably going to go in November anyway. This is just a longer trip now.

Going to the usual bulletin board happy hours that have been going on since I put them together in 1998. The day/location since 2003 has been at Amsterdam Manor's bar on Mondays. However, this time we will have to wait and see if a group over 4 people are allowed to mingle at a bar.

But we do plan on meeting up for drinks with a few friends from here and other Aruba forums as well - and of course, we will get together with our Aruban and Dutch friends who we have known for 15+ years.

Will be fun....and a much needed break from work!

We're the opposite. We know where we'll be staying but not sure when we're going.

Tracey and Jon will be there from turkey day for about 10 days. (maybe more)
Currently they have escaped the real world (illness in the family) and have taken some respite time!
