Question Buying a bbq grill and propane

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a recommendation about buying a bbq grill in Aruba (a Weber or something similar)? Are there places on the island that have a decent selection, or should we just ship one in from the US (we are shipping in a lot of items anyway because we just bought a condo and it's unfurnished). To be clear, I'm talking about a large bbq for a patio / balcony. Cannot be charcoal due to HOA rules.

Also, where on the island does one find / refill propane tanks for a bbq?

    Thanks for any advice.

    All the best.

Congratulations on your purchase. Maybe Stephen has a clue?

    Welcome! Where is your condo?

We don't have a grill, but I know you can get them on the island. DoIt has grills, and I believe Kooyman, PriceSmart and some of the appliance stores. Super Foods may have some too-they have outdoor furniture upstairs. Flora may also have them. I don't know where they refill tanks, probably down in Bacadara area.

The selection of barbeques is pretty limited on the island and of questionable quality. If you're looking for something high end, you'll need to ship it. BBQ tanks can be purchased at PriceSmart or Arugas and filled at Arugas.

Thank you (and everyone on this thread for the advice). Sounds like we will need to ship in.

BTW, we bought at Azure. Now the fun of furnishing starts
