Something that has seemed to be new in the last week or so is at least one more death per day. Just all so sad...

It does seem as though the deaths are rising. I wonder why?

    You ask, I deliver.

As the United States battles a fourth surge of COVID-19, scientists are learning much about the Delta variant that wasn’t known when it was first reported in India in March: it is one of the most infectious respiratory viruses known, it causes more severe COVID-19 than other variants, and it is more likely to evade antibodies.

Evidence of all these traits is clear. The Delta variant has caused a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths across the U.S. and the rest of the world.

All true but most of the surge in the USA around 97% I heard yesterday are unvaccinated, 2% only received 1st dose and only 1% fully vaccinated. We would not have this surge if everyone received the vaccine. I felt sad hearing nurses say that they had unvaccinated patients who were going to be put on a ventilator and they were begging for the vaccine but unfortunately it's too late...
