Wow interesting! Thanks for sharing. I am sure many parents won’t be happy having to get 2 year olds tested 1 day out. Hope it doesn’t cause more cancellations.

Wow ,That seems like it may be a deal breaker for some. Hopefully Aruba can keep up with getting results back in that window. Think about the craziness testing on Friday for Saturday departures. I go friday to friday and been testing on Wednesdays . Comes back in like 6 hrs.

If the results typically come back within hours anyway, does it really make a difference?

    exactly

I believe it was a way to encourage folks to be vaccinated, but since those test results come in less than 8 + hours, it is very doable.

I think traveling to Aruba with a two year old is more of a deal breaker than testing the two year old.

I dream about this virus going away and not having to test, wear masks etc.

The 2 yr old test requirement is not new. It was in the January 2021 guidance. Only change for US citizens is test 1 day before departure for unvaccinated. 3 day window for vaccinated. More requirements for non-US citizens.

I believe that Walt is not talking about the 2 yr old testing guidance.
He is talking about having a toddler on vacation in Aruba.
    I agree Walt.
    Age 2 is tough.
    Infant is much easier
5+ yr old is easier too.

Dennis...................... a 2 yr old is Unvaccinated. That child MUST be tested before travel to the USA 1 day out. (instead of 3 days)
