    Covid 19 Testing

Just made our appointment for the Covid 19 Abbott Rapid Test for Tuesday September 7th as we fly to Aruba on Friday September 10th. My question is I just re read the travel requirements and it states the test has to have the full name that is on your Passport? Do I now need to call back where we are getting our appointments to make sure they add our Middle names to our test results? Thanks

Where did you sign up this far in advance? I thought testing centers were only scheduling tests out 3 or 4 days in the future.

I signed up with Spectrum Health out here in Prescott AZ. You can make appointments weeks in advance. Which is great.

shuby154 - I just callled Walgreens and was told you can’t schedule the Abbott ID Now Test prior to 3 days out. Maybe you didn’t go to a Walgreens in AZ. I was also told the Abbot ID Now is a rapid test not a PCR test. But it is apparently accepted in Aruba. It’s on their website as being accepted as long as your results are emailed to you or you have hard copy with sticker.

Hello Folks, Each testing facility I checked with stated 1- 5 days for results. Most where 1-3 days. That's cutting it close but hope it will be 1- 2 days. Question : is it easy to upload the covid results before departing to Aruba? Do we have to take any on- line completion of a health questioner when departing Aruba for US? And do I upload
results or just show document while departing Aruba. Thanks. Tim. A little nervous.

I did not schedule the test at a Walgreens. I reached out to Spectrum Health here in AZ to schedule our appointment for next week. Testing Options Include:
    – Abbott ID NOW SARS-CoV-2 NAA molecular test with (results in 30 minutes). This is from the Aruba testing page. Accepted Molecular test brands, such as, but not limited to:
    • Abbott ID NOW - Only when results include the original thermal receipt / sticker, or results are verifiable through an email or patient portal. So hopefully we are doing the correct test.
