    Entry question

Hi All, Looking for some advice. We are leaving Dec 26th and staying at Lacabana and The Surf club. I know we need to get a Covid test 3 days before we go. I am trying to schedule that now. I have filled out the ED Card and I think I have to wait until I get an email from them 3 days before we leave to buy the insurance. Is that right? Or am I missing anything else we have to do?

    Thanks Terry

Yes they will email you to pay the insurance and when you can submit negative test results. Don't forget to down loan their travel app if you haven't done so.

Go to your App Store. Aruba Healthy App
it is not necessary if you protest.

make sure if you protest you print out everything!
green check page including the scan box
    the covid test report
and each person in your group has their own paperwork.

I got a bit waylaid today as I did not have any green ink and the powers that be were not happy I ended up showing on my phone and that sufficed.

just print everything and keep it with your passport.

Hi! I have a question on this - does each person need to have the app downloaded or can multiple people from the same party be on one phone? Thanks so much!

Hi Roak4ever - The airport staff in Aruba is extremely polite but diligent. You will pass through many check points where you're asked to show your green checkmark (from ED card) and demonstrate you know what the "Health and Happiness app" is. The FASTEST way to move through these checkpoints is to have a printed copy of the ED card's "green check mark" in one hand and your Aruba Health and Happiness app displayed on your phone in your other hand. If you can show these, then you breeze by the checkpoints. If you don't have the app, you can still get through, but they'll likely stop you to ask you a few questions (at which point you can tell them you downloaded one app for the family/group and you understand all the information the app provides). And you'll likely get squirted with sanitizer several times while standing there - LOL.
So bottom line, having the app on the phone in advance for each person in your travel party = speed of movement through the airport.
