While I hate to see the high numbers, at least there is no one in the ICU and few in the hospital.
Hmm maybe I will get my second booster shot before my next Aruba trip. I boosted on Nov 26th 2021.
Both wife and were double boosted in March. We both got it in early May. No fever, sore throat, cough and fatigue. I was better after 3 days. Wife however, while a lot better, still is very fatigued (unusual for her) after 2 1/2 weeks. Encouraging her that doctor says some take 3-4 weeks. Crossing fingers. We also had antiviral meds in first couple of days. Agree - vaccines and boosters work to prevent serious illness. Guess our feeling was why take a chance if preventative treatments are available.
Just received my second booster today! I think I'm done already with these vaccines but I did it as I wanted protection for my 2 trips to Aruba this year. Last booster was Nov so probably wore out by now.
Good morning. By "double-boosted" I'm assuming that means you've had the 1st 2-vaccines (or 1 if J&J), and then 1st booster and a 2nd booster. Then a 3rd recommended later this summer for a total of 5, did i get that correct? We're trying to decide if we should get our 2nd booster for our upcoming trip mid-June, and weighing that against the need for another booster in the Fall. Not liking the increase in numbers. Will be interested to see what this past week looks like compared to May 14-20 week. It's definitely been trending up for both residents and non-residents, a bit concerning
