    New Curfew

I am reading all over the place of the new curfew hours.
    10p - 5a

Our Aruba.com site has been updated the curfew hours/ruling
    https://www.aruba.com/us/traveler-he...ments#measures
    https://www.aruba.com/us/traveler-he...ments#measures
What I have read on other sites is that the curfew is now from 10p to 5a.
That means that restaurants, bars, casinos will be closing at 9.

For those of us that spend time with our Aruban friends, this poses difficulties.
For those of us that dine out a bit later in the evening, this too poses some difficulties.

Typically we dine out at 6 or 7 pm and are back at the timeshare unit by 8 or 9.
I guess we will be making adjustments so we get out casino time too.

    Check with your resort too.

We all have to follow the curfew in place that begins today.

For us, the new curfew would not be an issue. Our casino time was mostly late afternoon and we are early diners. It’s always nice to sit out on your balcony in the evening with a glass of wine and munchies or coffee and dessert. Alas we will not be in Aruba this year but those who choose to go can still have an enjoyable vacation.

It is rare for us to be out after 10, so for us it is not a problem. They had moved to 10pm curfew before we left in March and it was odd seeing few cars on the road and the lights out early at Screaming Eagle.

I wonder if people in resorts will have be in their rooms or if they just have to be on the property by 10.

So maybe a good thing will be that the curfew will save us money. We like to go out later for dinner, drinks and fun and with the bars closing earlier we just won't be able to do as much. But we're still going!

It won't change anything for us either. The only time we're out after 10, is if we're having a late night at the Ritz and that usually doesn't end well anyway. The wife will have to give her customary donation earlier

Early to bed; early to rise. makes us wealthy, healthy and wise..
We do eat early; and always back by 10p
So curfew will not be any issues on us.

typically we go to the casinos after 8 pm.
if we are losing we are outta there in 45 min.
if we are winning we are there longer.

i think that we may reverse our "plan"
the casino will be late afternoon and dinner will be at about 6:30 or 7.

what I see as a problem for us is a late evening ice cream cone at the Marriott lobby.

You could switch it up and have a cone before going into the casino!

We like late afternoon or early evenings in casinos because they are typically less crowded. I am wondering if this will change with the curfew in place. We tend to have early dinners and make our casino stop on the way to and from dinner. The hardest thing for me to digest is the ban on live music. That would be the only reason we would be out later in the evening.

Its a deal breaker for me. I never head out till after 9pm or so and I really enjoy gambling AND hanging out with my friends.
