    From FRESH Aruba Radio

    Today's numbers. Unfortunately, another person has died due to the effects of the virus. The total number of deaths thus reaches 169. In addition, nine new infections have been detected; in total residents (local infection rate 7 %). 21 people have recovered. The total number of active cases is now 151; 137 residents and 14 tourists. On average, there are 12 new cases per day with an average daily local infection rate of 9 %. There are currently 19 patients in an ICU in Colombia. So far six Covid patients are in ICU and 10 in Covid ward.

    Keeping my fingers crossed these low numbers continue. We will know more next 9-12 days (school vacation this week and there are gatherings on the beach, at the new Arcade at Seaport and at the hotels. Let's hope safe practices are taking place.)
