I did not know that the resorts would be offering testing.
I do know that the 2 (MedCare and MedLab) (not the hospital) will come to the resorts for an additional charge over the $126 for the convenience.
What you are referring to, is different that what is already being offered?

Renaissance has confirmed that they will be offering onsite testing. They state that results will be within 24 hours. The cost is $50.00. Right now, it is only for registered guests.

Bucuti is also offering on site testing at the resort for their hotel guests. Cost is $128 and paid directly to the doctor at time of the visit via credit card.

Costa Linda return testing for owners and guests

Copied directly from the Costa Linda Facebook post:

Returning home after your vacation at Costa Linda Beach Resort under the new CDC/USA and Canadian Covid-19 testing requirements just got a whole lot easier.

Costa Linda has arranged with a local lab for members and guests to get the Covid test at the resort. A negative test will be needed for anybody 2 years and older per the guidelines effective January 26 to return to the States and 5 years and older for Canada, whose testing requirements to re-enter the country are already in place. This convenient, onsite service for CLBR members and guests only, will be provided thanks to CLBR Management partnering with Aruba’s Med Lab (the Lab from Urgent Care) to have the Covid tests administered at the resort.

Here's what you need to know:

    Cost is $126 per person.

Testing at the resort will take place in our new Member’s Transition Lounge starting Wednesday January 27, 2021.

Tests will be conducted on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8AM - 12 NOON, meaning you must make your appointment before the testing days, the earlier the better. Management is working with Med Lab to see if it is possible to arrange an alternate day/time for Costa Linda members/guests who need a test on a different day.

In-person appointments must be made in advance of testing days with Joanne Oduber in Sales or Ismari Arends in the Executive Office in order to actually sign up for the test. Their e-mail addresses are : joduber@costalinda-aruba.com or IArends@costalinda-aruba.com

The following will be required for your appointment with Joanne or Ismari for each person 2 years and older (5 years or older for Canada) requiring a test.

Copy of valid ID of each tester (national ID, Driver’s License or Passport) the office will need to make a copy
    Each person’s room number
    Telephone #
    Home Address
E-mail address to which result can be sent
    Traveling date and destination
Answers to questions about previous Covid tests and symptoms

On the day of the actual testing appointment, please show up 5 minutes prior to your appointment time with your original ID you provided when you made the appointment.

In the event of a positive test result, Aruba’s quarantine rules covered by the previously-paid $30 per person insurance paid will apply.

Test results will be delivered to your e-mail within 24 hours. Staff will assist getting results printed that must be presented to the airlines. Or you can print them yourself using the lobby computers the same way many owners print their boarding passes.

The government has set up testing services with other local labs, which will cost virtually the same as Costa Linda's. If you prefer, see other testing sites on government links posted on CLBR'S web site homepage. A test is also available at the Hospital for $75, but keep in mind this option could expose you to others who have the virus, and offsite testing locations, of course, will require transportation both ways, which will narrow the cost gap.

Currently the details outlined above refer to the PCR test required by the USA. If a cheaper test (Antigen Viral Test which is also known as rapid test) is approved by the Aruba Health Department for the labs, then the cost will be lower.

Feel free, as always, to share questions and/or concerns with General Manager Luigi Heredia, lheredia@costalinda-aruba.com

The best trip is the next trip. Anxiously waiting to book something.
