RUMORS Re: Aruba Mandatory Insurance and Testing

As of now................the insurance rates are the same BUT will change to $30 flat rate per person over age 14.

Effective 1 November 2020, a flat premium of $30 is applicable for new insurance policies for travelers over 14 years old.
The new insurance rate is automatically applied when filling in the immigration card on
    edcardaruba.aw

    https://www.arubavisitorsinsurance.com/#COST
As of TODAY at 4:26 pm there are NO changes to the Testing procedures.

FB groups are making tons of speculations.

We try not to speculate here.

Does that mean $30 on top of the current rate or just a flat $30 for no matter how long you are on the island?

my guess is that they will charge them the $30 each for Nov 1 thru whenever they stay til.
I also think that the Nov 1 payment they already made will come back as a credit card credit.

They will be happy. It won't be much, but better than nothing back.
