Paul and Ana were saying that it seems like the Aruban people are not taking it seriously. They've seen large groups on the beaches-mostly young adults. The said they saw one group passing a round a bottle of vodka and another of bottle of soda. They said older people in Price Smart were not wearing masks properly and there was no social distancing when they went to pick up our license plates. Paul said the guy behind them in line left no real personal space. They don't distance in stores either. They take temperatures, but don't really look at it(goes for the airport too). They said Oceania is taking temperatures, but of their hands(never heard that one before).

there are people in every country that do not believe it is a deadly pandemic.
they think it is misrepresented as something serious and it really isn't.
these young local Aruban people (if indeed they are Aruban locals and not tourists or visiting students) believe that they are infallible.
they are being very disrespectful to their neighbor, their housemates, their parents, grandparents, siblings and children.

    Cnyes just posted "disturbing"
    Yes indeed.

I'm praying for an effective vaccine soon. Like Andrea said it's like that everywhere. I went to the park today for a walk. I kept my distance and mask on all day because i have to pass people walking in opposite direction on same trail. A lot of people were wearing mask but there were some like this group of 5 people walking together and no mask in site. To use the bathroom there is a large sign that you need a mask to enter but no one monitoring. They have plenty of soap laid out by the sink though if they even bother to wash their hands.
