    ughhhhhhh Covid test

Our cover test was scheduled for this morning. as we are walking out the door to go, phone rings, it Walgreen, telling us that they do not have any covid test, and they will have to cancel our test. Say WHAT?????? no help from them at all! just sorry. I said you mean to tell me 20 mins before my appointment you just now know you don't have testing supplies>??!?! UNREAL. Spent the next hour trying to find a different walgreens that has appointment. nothing for today, of course! Was able to find 4 times for tomorrow, about 20 min away. I hope nothing goes wrong tomorrow.
I am so mad, over something i have no control over! Short fuse today!!!!

So sorry to hear that....hopefully it goes better for you tomorrow,,, good luck. Time leading up to our test involved a lot of anxiety... but it all worked out well in the end.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men!

I'm so sorry! Hopefully, all will work out. I got my two PCR tests this morning. Now, I wait and pray at least one comes back in time. I'm finding this so incredibly stressful. It's hard to get really excited when you don't know. I'm packed except for clothes. I got new luggage last week. I hate this!!

    Sending positive thoughts your way...

I guess when the numbers went down they stopped stocking a lot of testing kits and now that everything is surging again, they are short on materials. I hope it works out for you.

Good luck Lisa. This is all added stress none of us need. Getting everything in order before we go on vacation is stressful enough and this whole process makes it even worse. Fingers crossed!

If things don't work out for you, just pay the $75 and get tested in Aruba, when you land. You will get the results in about 6 hours. Its at least a Back Up Plan!!!

Sorry, but that's not an acceptable backup plan for me. I will not take the risk of testing positive upon arrival and being put into quarantine. And God forbid that should happen and I become truly ill, I do not want to be in a foreign country. Aruba needs to discontinue that and require everyone to obtain and upload a negative test prior to arrival.
