That makes sense. I didn't realize where they are staying was down there. Atardi would probably be a long drive in that case.
No, I don't like the feet in the water dining either. Plus I've seen more than one person get an unexpected wave in their lap (only funny when you're NOT sitting at a water table)! We always asked for a table in the sand against the rock wall on the right (as you face the water). then you have an unobstructed sunset view.

Personally, I am not wild about feet in the water dining
We had our anniversary dinner at Flying Fishbone last March and, while the setting was really neat and the idea of the whole "feet in the water" thing was interesting, apparently we were there at low tide because the water never came up over the wall the whole time we were there. The sunset was really nice and the food and service was great, but the "feet in the water" thing ended up being "feet on wet cement" and kind of disappointing and weird. LOL. I am not sure I would go back there if we were there at the same time of year (which we are not going to go to FF this March), but maybe during another time of year, the tide would cooperate more. We did get to see a fellow vacationer snorkeling right NEXT to where we were sitting for dinner, which was also kind of odd. There is a small condo or something right next door and the people were out paddling around right next to us. Got a few "full moon" views too, if you catch my drift. Too bad that didn't help the tide come up faster! HA!

(Ooh! I think this is my 100th post too! Do I get a prize? Hahahaha! I have a ways to go to catch up with many of you!!)

and the prize for posting 100 is............. dinner for 2 on a wet cement slab of your choice!

the tide changes in aruba are really pretty minimal due to the location of aruba only 8 or 9 degrees north of equator.

did the "full moon" add or detract from your dining experience?
did you need some eye bleach?

Good point about the tide changes being minimal. I hadn't thought of that. In that case, I guess we just got the wet cement slab table. Lol!

Early on at dinner, we had asked the waiter to take our picture and in the background of that picture was the "full moon". We didn't realize that had happened until later, but it's a hysterical picture!!!

Did Pincho's again last year.... good food and service.... but seating was right next to another table for little privacy....
