    Activities, Family Restaurants etc....

We are staying at Playa Linda, and we are not renting a car. We are going to be doing some family photos while we are there but don't have any real excursions planned. Any family friendly restaurants or excursions ideas let me know.

visit the categories: culinary culture and family vacations and activities/sports.
post in those forums and try to be as specific as you can with your questions
ex (in the culinary section) you could say "we are a family of 2 adults and 2 preschoolers, what would be a good choice for us?"

You'll really like Playa Linda, it's in the middle of Palm Beach and a car isn't needed. Casa Tua is a nice Italian type place with outdoor seating and very family friendly. The Donkey Sanctuary, Butterfly Farm and Ostrich Farm are fun and informative for kids and adults. There are several tour companies that will take you around the island and show you what the rest of Aruba is like. They will pick you up and drop you off at Playa Linda. Kouzina, Scott's Brats and Eduardo's are good inexpensive breakfast and lunch spots. Bugaloe and Pelican Nest are fun places with casual over the water dining. Be aware that some places add a 15% "service charge" to your check. It will be shown on the menu and bill so you may want to adjust your tip strategy. Other places we like to eat are Local Store, Bavaria, Bingo and Barney's, all an easy cab ride from PL. Happy hours abound and some places are all day like Carlito's and others are once or twice a day like Moomba and Nos Clubhuis, but everyone has one at some time or another.
