Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

    Good morning everyone.

Great to see Air Canada arriving at Reina Beatrix.

I would love to hear from fellow Canadians on their arrival experience once they got on the ground in Aruba.

It's a long weekend up here. Have a good one!

    Regards,

The Maple Leaf finally made it to the flagpole at the Divi and Tamarijn.
Took 20 years of asking, but it happened...

Did that happen a few years ago? I remember saying to Paul that it was pretty cool that they put up the flag.

We were on AC flight last Saturday. The flight was about 75% full, not too bad. It took long to get out of airport, way longer than before. In addition to health/COVID related questions and ED info check (this does not take long) they have a new procedure of checking each peace of language including suite cases. They only have 2 machines for US and non US arrivals together located after language carousels. At least 3 flights arrived at the same time. The line was long, snaking around language carousels with no room for social distancing. It moved very slowly as everybody had to scan all their items Abd it took long time to gather everything after scan, no tables. They would not let the next person start loading the machine until the previous person started movind out and at least 6 feet away. Not sure what they are trying to accomplish, perhaps somebody’s knows.
