    Closed Casinos

Does anyone know when they closed the Cool Casino and the Eagle Casino? The more exact, the better, but any information is welcome.

According to people in a Facebook group, both casinos closed for COVID and never re-opened. In case anyone else was interested.

It was at the RIU Palace.
It was a lovely place that in its early years served drinks in nice glasses.
We never won a penny there either.
Apparently the places that serve their drinks in glass have tight slots (Ritz)

Paul just reminded me about the Christmas trees in there.
I was maybe 10 or 12 years ago.
We went into the Riu's Cool Casino to play.
Smoking was allowed in the casinos at the time.

They had a few real Christmas trees in the casino which were beautifully decorated.
    Note the word "real"
These trees were dropping their needles and were very dry.
Note that smoking was still allowed.

After we were seated and I was losing my $ fast, Paul said that he felt we were in a fire trap.
I agreed and we got out.
We mentioned to one of the employees that we felt it dangerous with real trees and their dryness and the lots of smokers.
He did not say a word, walked over to the door and held it open for us to leave. Which we did gladly.

That was our last time in that casino.
