Currency purchase - US Dollars ?

I'm buying currency quite soon. I'm assuming US dollars are still accepted everywhere. Is that still the case? With the dollar being weaker at present I just wanted to be sure I didn't need florins.

(interestingly, local money exchanges are not supplying dollars off the shelf as travel to the USA is not happening at present)

    thanks in advance

    US $ are fine.
    Accepted everywhere in Aruba.
You may receive change in Aruba florins at a grocery store or gas station.
In grocery stores, one can bring those florins to the customer service desk to convert to Dollars$.
We usually just hang on to those florins and add it to the tip for our housekeeper at the resort.
