    http://www.portarubawebcam.com

    3 ships in the photo.......
in foreground is the Dutch Marine ship
i am unsure if it is a destroyer or battleship

the smaller cruise ship is Freewinds (Scientologist Sea Program)
the large cruise ship is Carnival Vista

re: the Dutch Marine ship i would hope that they are giving tours, but in this day and age............very doubtful

They offer tours of the Naval Base and ships here in Norfolk. I've been in foreign ports before and received at least a topside tour of several different countries ships. The most impressive was a full tour on a Japanese submarine. If I was in Aruba and had the chance, I would at least approach the watch and ask if a tour was available. Most military folks are very proud of their machines and like to show them off whether it's a jet, helicopter or ship. It would probably only last for 30 minutes or so, and it's a great time to thank them for their service, regardless of their home country.

They could have been there for a little R&R maybe coming back from assisting in St. Martin.
