There is a risk eating barracuda. Personally I wouldn't touch it but it makes great bait.

My wife and I had it at Zeerovers a few years ago. Tasted great for fried fish.

I was fine but it made her VERY sick to her stomach and took her a good 24 hours to feel well again. She won't order it again.

Some people just don’t have the stomach for deep fried. Others enjoy it.

I should not eat fried. Fried does not like me.
I weigh out options ie: good angel vs bad angel.
Bad often wins. I pay the price

I do not eat fried anything anymore except for fried clams once or twice a summer. It has to be done at lunch time because anything after 1:30 in the afternoon is going to interfere with my sleep, We have never been to Zeerovers because of it being a fried food place.

We went on the Morning Star Sailboat foe an evening cruise a couple of times. They put out a line and both times they caught a Barracuda and they cooked it for us. It tasted great.

Salmon is my favorite fish - recommend trying the fresh salmon from Trader Joes - it is delicious, melt in your mouth. I also like it cooked in the air fryer but I cook at 390 degrees for 8 or 9 minutes but I only season with cajun seasoning and avocado oil spray. It stays really moist.
