My name is the beginning of my name Jayna( pronounced like Jane with an ah on the end) and my last name Shea-Jayshea. At first I had to figure out what name I go by.

I wish I'd given some thought to my username and picked something cool, but I was lazy. It's only a letter short of my name (Bria). It's easy to remember. Ha!

I am an avid fisherman. Freshwater & Saltwater. For example, I traveled to Aruba for 2 weeks and brought 3 rods & reels and a hand line on a spool.
I have fished in many states, Canada, Thailand, Italy, Sweden & Finland.
That said, my favorite place to fish is Oswego County, NY, between October and early April. During that time, I target a trout called Steelhead. It is COLD weather fishing, hence Cold Steel.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

Glenn is my user name and my real name.

I am probably better at making a long story longer than anyone else here on the forum, so I'll close it here, unless you want to know why I was named Glenn.

Ok Lisa, and everyone else, whether you are at home or at work; sit back, relaxed and be regaled! Lol.

My parents are both from Scotland, my dad having emigrated to Canada in the 1920's and met my mum during the second world war while stationed in Scotland. They were married here in 1947 but as my dad was still in university studying to be a teacher, they couldn't afford to raise a family just then.

Finally in 1952, my dad had a teaching job and it was time to have a family. Names? My mum didn't want a name that could be shortened, (Robert to Bob, Edward to Ted,etc). She wanted a single-syllable name. Her first choice was Paul. That was just way too Catholic for my dad. (Got to remember where they came from and the times to appreciate the context).

Soo, back to the war. They met at a dance hall and American big band leader Glenn Miller was what they danced to and voila! Glenn, spelled the American way, not the traditional Scottish way, Glen.

    Regaled now? I thought so.

Lisa my friend, anytime you need a story made longer, you know where to find me! :-)

    Regards,

    Glenn
