That is what we usually do unless we are away. This year we went to our friends' home for a party. Thought we'd go for a few hours and come home for the ball drop with our son. It ended up being more like 5 hours. Got home around 1:30.

You did well Robin and Walt!
Paul and I went to our community's NY Party.
It was packed and the band was incredibly loud.
Usually I am the one that likes to bolt asap, but this time it was Paul.
We stayed til 10 and he looked at me and said "are you ready?"
I had been ready since we arrived at 8.

    Home, in pjs by 10:15.
I went in to brush my teeth, got into bed intending to read but rested my eyes.........for 8 hrs!

The wild late night party animal that I was in my 20s is long forgotten.

Happy New Year! We checked in at 6:10 for a 6:30 dinner reservation and were seated at 6:50...sat til 7:10 without even water before we were visited by a server...........and had our app before our drinks at 7:40! Great food.... but horrible service. Not the servers fault, they were so understaffed they couldn't turn the tables for the next guests. Home by 9:30 with an easy ride! We'd go there again..... but not for a special event!

    That is disappointing CP

    I miss Boston's Chinatown.

Lots of health for everyone in 2020! I weighed in this morning and I am going to make a very strong effort to lose a lot of weight so that I can enjoy good health and more trips to Aruba.

Last night we rung in the New Year at one of our friends who just moved in up the street and threw a party...We stayed there till 12:15 and then came home and we all went to bed. Good luck to all who have set some goals. I am going to try and be healthier as well. I am getting mentally prepared to go for my first run of the new year...kinda dreading it but I am hoping for the best.
