    Oh no!

My husband and I tested today, supposed to head to Aruba on Saturday. But my husbands test came back as positive. We are working on rebooking our trip, but I had a question for anyone who has travelled after the 2 week window with the positive test and letter clearing you for travel. We tested at Walgreens. Where would we get the letter from? And is there anything it is required to say? Thanks in advance for your help!

Luckily, he is currently asymptomatic. Hopefully he stays that way!

You will need a letter from his doctor as well as the copy of the positive test when you decide to go to the island. I would call his doctor, explain the situation, and ask what they require from you in order to write up the letter of recovery. I believe it must have the office letterhead in order to be accepted.

The doctor may require you to send over the positive results, or may even require an office visit. Good luck. I hope he remains well and you guys can make it down soon!

Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear that news! Glad he is asymptomatic though! Aruba will be there for you at a later date and it will be that much more special since you had to wait a bit. For now, I hope he continues to feel well.

Can you retest to see if it is really positive or if it is a false positive?
