Painted Rocks...Leaving something for others to find

I forgot to post this on my "Aruba Story"...........
I found this rock on the ground in the flower bed at LaCabana.
I took a photo of it and put it back for someone else to find and to take home.

I have done this and have left at Disney and a few in Aruba a few years ago.

    It is fun!

It is a great project with kids.

The rocks can be purchased at Lowes (in a 5lb bag)
The paint is acrylic and the rocks are sprayed with a Krylon sealant.

While in Aruba (or anywhere actually) consider leaving a painted rock for someone to find AND keep your eyes down every so often in case there is one for you to find.

Your initials and hometown should be put on the back.

The initials on the one pictured were GM and the town was Laurel MD

Disclosure.........I am not advocating littering. I am advocating FUN. Also, just a not weigh down your luggage with rocks.....just a handful.
    A wonderful project for kids.

We love doing this! My daughter and I paint the rocks and have so much fun doing them and coming up with ideas. It makes for a great mom and daughter day painting them and then of course putting them out.
