I thought that the Surf Club was owned by Marriott and that the "owners" really are contracted with "right to use", not actually own.

There are so many different kinds of timeshares out there and they are all a bit confusing.

Whatever the legal ownership jargon is..............Marriott got some "Splainin" to do and some corrections to be made.

I don't think anyone could have predicted that a large group of people would not follow the rules. They should be serious about enforcement for everyone's safety.

Did anyone voice their concerns to any managers.
I know we did voice our concerns about one time people not following the "rules."
We witness security guards and managers asking non guest members to leave facility
and telling the "guest" it was against the policy and if it happens again they will be asked
    to leave.

It is clearly an enforcement issue. Robin's son's phone call should have brought the police. The following is directly from the Aruba Government website

    • Starting September 18, 2020, family parties at home are not permitted.

He called twice and they did nothing. I guess they had better things to do or were told by security that it was being handled. I know the police do respond to issues, because my son's gf was being bothered by a guy on the beach a few weeks ago. They came right out when she a called.
