    Rona's thoughts on yesterday's weather

Rona called it Tropical Storm Bonnie.
I was unaware that it reached TS force winds.

    Happy reading

I read it this morning. If you don't prepare, you get spanked. If you prepare, you get spanked. Some additional planning for flexibility would have been nice.

    Until the next time...

No matter what happens, people will complain. Storms are so unpredictable, being safe rather than sorry is the best option.

Sounds like a political rant hiding behind a storm.

There's almost TOO much for her to write about if she lived in the US! Hahaha!

Its all she does. Which is why I've warned people about her a few times over the years on this forum. She manipulates information, dsn't understand context on a host of issues, always looking for the next topic to badmouth and plain writes about things she has no clue about(like tropical weather and the "landspakket" among others). She's also become more and more extreme on her gossip(=bati bleki) page which unfortunately many English speaking readers mistake as informed opinion on local matters. She's become more and more like the English speaking version of 24ora.

The government calamity preparation for this storm had to be adapted because it's wasn't even a tropical storm. The NHC even had to use a rarely used term "potential tropical storm" to even be able to track it and give out warnings for it. What does she even mean by "Dutch public"? The Aruban response almost always differs from the Curaçaoan response by a small or large margin. How did the government follow Curaçao's lead? Note how she specifically blames the government for "false reading" the forecast. Not the NHC, but the government of Aruba.

Its a shame some people use her as an information source.
