    Water Aerobics ongoing!

The heavy rains passed through last night and the wee hours this morning.

Aside from a worry, it was pretty much a non event.
Places where rain ponding usually occurs , had rain ponding, no surprise.

And the storm, now north west of Aruba, is still a non named blob and is now a LOW pressure system.

We in Florida are beginning to worry.

Ya looks like we may have to cancel our Monday cruise.
we will not leave the house if storm is coming. That is too much to ask of our cat and dog sitter.
    too much worry

Thanks for the update Andrea and keeping us posted - looks beautiful in Aruba!

Fingers crossed Florida weather gets better/changes or at least not as bad as they claim.

I am at Divi Village and we had rain sometime between 11 PM and 2 AM early Wednesday morning. The way this place is built and where my unit is, the rain always floods my deck and seeps underneath the slider into my bedroom. It’s been that way for over 20 years so while it is annoying, I am used to it. Yesterday afternoon they stuck notices in all of our doors to keep everything off the floor and remove stuff from your balconies.

they said housekeeping would deliver extra towels to your room to stuff by the doors to prevent water coming into your our rooms. Sometime between 3 AM and 6 AM the storm picked up enough to drench my balcony and bedroom once again. I did have four towels stuffed by the slider but the water came through anyway.y It was not as bad as they thought, and the way the storm hit Was thankfully much less of an impact than originally forecast. In fact, it actually brought back a tiny little bit of our beach across the street, but not much.

There haven’t been any reports of significant damage elsewhere on the island from this latest tropical depression that we have heard so that is great news
