I tip weekly. Don't want to bother with money on a daily basis. The last stay I saw the same house keeper who was assigned to my room a few times working on the adjacent room before I left for the pool or beach.

At a resort in Cancun "Royals Resorts Timeshare" They use to leave a maid envelope in the room. At the end of the stay you would put the money in the envelope and bring it down to the lobby and put it in a box marked house keeping. I guess they all divi the tips weekly,,.

We stay at Playa Linda and tip daily (we have maid service everyday but one is just towels and trash pick up), we have different people clean our room so we do not want to slight one of them they all do a great job.

I tip for whatever day I allow them into the room. I don’t do use housekeeping every day but for the days I do need it I’ll make sure to tip whoever is servicing the room.

We tip at ABC every day even though some days they do just towels and make beds. Boy does that tip go a long way. We always have extra T.P and towels in the room. Our room is done early and they never say no to a favor asked. They work hard at ABC and we really do appreciate it. We also bring trinkets for front desk. This is our 10th year at ABC. We don't own, we rent, but they do remember us. We are wondering if 10 years renting gets us a certificate this year?

I have always tipped weekly, but I'm never sure how much to tip. We only need service a couple times each week at Casa Del Mar. I tip $25 for the week. What does everyone else tip?

    welcome to the posting side!
personal is very personal and what my husband and I tip may not be what you will tip.

@ Lacabana where there is housekeeping daily we tip $6 per day and we tip daily.

if you are traveling with kids that have some of their own $$......one of the things we told our son was...if you are a SLOB, you will be the one tipping daily.......if you are not a slob, daddy and I will be the tippers! (neatness incentive)
the kid was net as a pin.

in a regular hotel room we tip $4 p night

we just got off a 4 night cruise and the cabin steward was tipped $50
