THINK.. is it Thoughtful? Helpful? Inspirational? Necessary? Kind? SIDTM
We did a afternoon trip a few years ago, I wasn't particularly impressed. It was actually not crowded at all too, I would have downright hated it had it been crowded.
However, maybe an adult water park would pique my interest again.
Headed down in a few days, is de Palm Island worth spending the day?
we have a teenager as well. We have been before but well over 9 years ago.

Paul/Andrea May Trip 2019
click above link and read post #73 which is my review from when we were there in May.
you may enjoy it.
Paul and I did......to a point.
we were there from opening til about 2 pm
I am glad that we spent "found money" on it and if we went again, we would not go on a weekend (it was packed) and we would not go when a cruise ship is in.
when we were there it was indeed crowded.
we did enjoy seeing the baby flamingos.
the food was better than mediocre.
the drinks were good.
the snorkeling was awesome.
if it fits your budget, and you are looking for a way to entertain the young'un, make it a day event!
(check the cruise ship schedule and avoid cruse days and weekends)

Thank you for the information! Helps a lot.
We have done the island tour twice and thought about the jeep tour to the natural pool. De palm Island sounds like there might be more to do.

I’m on the fence about visiting DePalm island on my upcoming trip. I love the idea of the renovated water park for my kid but it seems like a big time commitment out of my day. We went a few years back and I was underwhelmed. We couldn’t find seating near the waterpark and the beach was rocky.
It was a one and done for us- we thought it was the biggest waste of money we ever spent in Aruba. Have you ever gone to the inflatable water park by Barefoot? That looked like it could be fun and it wouldn’t be a whole day commitment.
