    Divi Aruba All Inclusive

Hi everyone! I was just curious who all had stayed here. I’ve started looking at it for an option for the wife and I. Beach, pools are both important. I would love to hear some feed back!

I have stayed at their sister resort the Tamarijn.
    We like the Tam.
The Divi is nice, laid back and is a good spot.
Lots of our forum members have stayed at the DIVI AI or the TAM or both.

On Cyber Monday (or maybe Black Friday) the Divi/Tam run a huge sale .works out to a BOGO.

As Andrea posted, Cyber Monday sales are quite good and if you check their Facebook page they have other sales over the course of the year.

We stayed there from 2009 until 2016. Most always I booked the Cyber Monday sale as it was so reasonable We didn’t hesitate to also go off resort to try local restaurants for dinner. Druif Beach is gorgeous. The water is clear and it’s not crowded. However, there are days when the waves are rough and it’s best to go to the pool. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming.

So why did we stop staying there? Well, the Divi started marketing heavily to families with “kids stay free offers”. As we are a couple in our 60s we weren’t looking for a place with lots of kids running around. They also added another building with additional rooms so it was busier. The food in their restaurants was average to good. We were okay with it because there were enough choices you could always find something. Most nights we went off resort for dinner so it wasn’t an issue.

I would still recommend the Divi if it’s all inclusive you are looking for.

Thank you so much for the responses girls. We have 5 kids so this trip will be a trip to get some quiet time. It looks like they have a good amount of restaurants and bars at the resorts. How are they pools?? Ever been to the spa? We might want to do a couple massage.

The Divi has two good size pools. One is off the open air lobby and another is in front of the newer building. There is a 3rd smaller pool in front of the veranda building. My favorite would be the one off the lobby. It’s also just steps to the beach if you want to go back and forth. The smaller pool is usually pretty quiet especially earlier in the day.

Never used the spa at the Divi but I can highly recommend the spa at Manchebo which is a short walk away. My husband always gets a massage when we’re there. Also, if you’re not staying there but would like to use the beach they will give you towel cards if you’re there for a massage.

For restaurants, I think there are 10 between the Divi and Tamarijn. Red Parrot seems to be a favorite and we always liked it there. The buffet is nice because when you’re at the beach you can throw on a cover up and go in and grab a bite. There’s also a pizza bar by the pool.

I was going to suggest Manchebo without the all inclusive. They have several great restaurants onsite, but there are plenty within walking distance or less than ten minutes away by taxi. I think that they still offer a breakfast meal plan, which might be another option. Manchebo is very laid back and relaxing, with very few kids. The beach there is incredible and their staff is so welcoming and attentive. They also have a great happy hour, that many of us attend even when we are staying other places. We've stayed there many times and love it.
