Aruba’s pet-friendly hotels

Visitors traveling to Aruba with their furry companions will find that several hotels welcome pets.

As rules and policies vary from property to property and are often updated, it’s best to confirm your pet’s stay and any restrictions ahead of time.


The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba
At The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba, all well-mannered, healthy dogs weighing 25 pounds (11 kilograms) or less are welcome. No more than one dog may occupy each guest room. There is a $250 USD non-refundable Dog Stay Fee per stay, along with an additional Deep Cleaning Fee based on the room type category ($250 - $400).  There are house rules regarding desirable conduct, specific pet-friendly areas, and a designated pet-relief area on the property.


Some of the services and amenities provided are a dedicated Pet Concierge, elevated in-room amenities such as a dog sofa, bowls, treats, disposable waste bags, and size-appropriate dog toys. There is an In Room Dining dog menu, complimentary shaded dog cabanas at the pool and beach area, and the Signature Store now offers a curated selection of dog products.

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Only certified service dogs are permitted.  Inquire for rules and restrictions.


Holiday Inn Resort Aruba

Certified service animals with proof of up-to-date vaccinations are allowed.  Inquire ahead of time for current rules and policies for service animals.


Boardwalk Boutique Hotel

No pets are allowed. However, there are a couple of friendly resident cats vaccinated and cared for by the Boardwalk team that frequent the gardens on the property and welcome a little scratch or cuddle from guests looking for a little furry therapy.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino is a dog-friendly establishment. Whether they have two legs or four, guests at the Hyatt Regency Aruba can expect an exceptional level of service.  Show your canine friend true VIP (very important pet) treatment.

Your dog will receive a welcome letter, an amenity that includes a comfy bed, food, and water bowls, and a welcome biscuit. For added convenience, our concierge will be on hand to provide information on nearby walking routes, pet shops, groomers, vets, and local pet-friendly establishments.


Reservations being made with traveling dogs are required to be completed at least three days in advance of arrival.

Dogs are not allowed in public areas such as a restaurant, pool, etc., and must be walked in the designated “dog walk” area.

Dogs must be settled by 9:30 p.m.

Failure to follow procedures can and will result in the Manager on Duty contacting guests regarding noise complaints and providing kennel options if necessary.

The owner will be asked to complete the hotel’s dog-friendly letter and provide a cell phone number in order to locate guests in the event of an emergency. If there is no answer or reply dog will be moved to an approved local kennel.

The owner is asked to contact Housekeeping to arrange a daily cleaning time; otherwise room will not be serviced. The dog may not remain in the room while Housekeeping is providing service.

The owner is responsible for all damage to the hotel property. The hotel does not assume liability for a guest’s pet or its actions while at the hotel.

Dogs cannot be left uncrated while in the guest room alone.

The service charge does not apply to service animals.

Please note that the pet policy applies to dogs only, as the hotel does not permit cats and other animals.

Amsterdam Manor

Your four-legged friend can stay for an additional fee of only $10 per day (waived if your pet is a verified service animal). Amsterdam Manor is a pet-friendly resort that understands pets are an extension of your family. We gladly welcome our guests traveling with small pets and dogs. It is our intent to provide you with not only a wonderful and enjoyable stay but also a safe one. As a Pet-Friendly hotel, we must maintain the quality of our rooms to ensure a pleasant visit, comfort, and safety for all involved. For the comfort and safety of all guests and pets, we kindly request that all pet owners act responsibly with their pet(s). Guests traveling with pets must adhere and agree to the following hotel pet policies:

  • Kindly advise our reservations department at that you are bringing your pet(s).
  • Pet(s) are not allowed in public areas, including the swimming pool and restaurants.
  • Should you require food bowls and/or towels for your pet’s needs, please request it at the Front Desk upon arrival.
  • Pet(s) must be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property unless it is in the guest's room.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet(s) on hotel property and in the neighborhood.
  • Pet(s) must not be aggressive, must be clean and must not have flees.
  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room.
  • Guests are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damages resulting from their pet(s).
  • Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort reserves the right to remove guests whose pet(s) are deemed noisy or disruptive.
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, the hotel, its owners, and its operators from all liability and/ or damage suffered because of the guest's pet(s).
  • Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort reserves the right to charge the guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages.

NOTE: Animals individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability are excluded from this policy.



La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of leader dogs for the visually impaired, with prior approval of management. Management reserves the right to deny any visitors with pets or that did not request prior approval for their service dog.

Exceptions for “emotional support dogs” can be made based on the following conditions:

  1. Prior approval of management needs to be requested.
  2. A doctor’s note to justify the need for an emotional support dog needs to be presented for evaluation.
  3. Official paperwork for the dog (a copy of the dog’s Health Certificate or approval from the Director of Veterinary Service of Aruba) needs to be presented for evaluation by management.


If management grants approval for a leader dog or an emotional support dog, the owner/guest will be informed by email and must agree to the following conditions:

  1. The official paperwork for the dog must be presented upon check-in.
  2. There is a deep cleaning fee per room of US$ 350.00.
  3. The dog cannot represent an inconvenience to other vacationers in any way, including barking in the room. Noise complaints can result in eviction after the first warning with no refund due.
  4. The dog will not be allowed on any furniture in the room, including the bed.
  5. It is absolutely prohibited to use any kitchen utensils when feeding and/or caring for the dog.
  6. It is absolutely prohibited to use La Cabana towels for the dog.
  7. The dog will not be allowed in the pool/Jacuzzis or around the pool deck and should be in a dog stroller unless this is a leader dog for the visually impaired.
  8. Posting pictures of the dog in the room on social media is strictly prohibited as this can tarnish and/or bring into doubt our reputation of being a clean and safe resort.


Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is happy to accommodate guests traveling with dogs.  Guests must agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Dogs must weigh less than 25 pounds and must be fully trained and housebroken.
  2. Guests agree not to leave their pets unattended for unreasonable periods.  

3.  Guests agree that they are solely responsible for the maintenance of the below-described pet and agree always to restrain their pet appropriately. 

4.  There is a $300 non-refundable Dog Cleaning Fee per stay per room, per dog. To help out our furry friends, $50 from the Dog Cleaning Fee will be donated to the Aruba Animal Shelter. 

5.  The guest room will be inspected before departure and will be subject to additional charges if any damage is caused by the dog. 

6. The Dog is not allowed in any other room than the room of the guest signing this policy.

7. Dogs must be leashed or held in guest’s arms when on property. 

8. Guests agree to adhere to local ordinances, such as the leash requirements. 

9. Dogs are not allowed in the Pool, Lobby Lounge, Lobby Store, or in the Spa area. 

10. Dogs are permitted on the pool deck but only in a location that is out of all paths of travel (and on a leash).

11. Non-service dogs cannot be in the indoor restaurant. In the outside restaurant areas, the animal must remain on the floor in a location that is always out of all paths of travel. The dog cannot sit in the owner’s lap, on seats, or on any eating surface and cannot be fed in the restaurant. 

12. Guest agrees not to leave their pet unattended for unreasonable periods. 

13. The guest agrees to clean up after their pet and to dispose of their pet's waste properly and quickly.

14. Guests agree not to leave food or water for their pet or any other animal outside their guest room where it may attract other animals and agree to bring their own litter box and water bowl.

15. Guests agree not to use hotel linens, sheets, comforters, pillows, towels, or glassware for their pets.

16. Guests agree to keep their pet from being unnecessarily noisy or aggressive and causing any annoyance or discomfort to others and will remedy immediately any complaints made through the Resort Management. 

17. Guest agrees that this Agreement applies only to the specific pet described below and that no other service animal may be substituted. 

18. The guest agrees that the Resort reserves the right to revoke permission at once to keep the pet should the guests break this agreement.

Both Service dogs and small emotional support pets are welcome.


Pet-friendly policy:

For each pet, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, which helps cover the cost of a thorough room cleaning by an outside company. To facilitate this, a valid credit card number will be kept on file at the front desk. Guide dogs are exempt from the pet fee. Instead, a nightly charge of $20 per guide dog will apply. Please provide proof of the guide dog when the reservation is made.

Housekeeping and Maintenance Service: the hotel kindly requests that guests make their suites available to housekeeping and maintenance teams. If your pet is present in the room, please coordinate with staff to ensure a seamless experience. For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets weighing less than 35 pounds (15 kilos) are welcome. Verification of current vaccinations must be provided.


Pet Etiquette:

When you leave the hotel premises, please ensure your pet is secured in a proper pet crate or carrier if they are not accompanying you. Pets must be on a controlled leash at all times when not inside the guest suite. As responsible pet owners, guests are expected to clean up after their pets on hotel grounds and dispose of waste in the designated outside dumpster or as otherwise instructed. Any damages caused by your pet to the suite, its furnishings, or any part of the hotel are your responsibility.


Hyatt Place Aruba Airport

Dogs are permitted under the following requirements:

For guests staying 1-6 nights, a $75 non-refundable pet fee will be administered. For guests staying 7-30 nights, a $75 non-refundable pet fee plus an additional $100 cleaning fee will be administered.

Weight Limits: one –- 50lbs or under / two – combined weight of 75 pounds


Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf

Pet policies vary from the individually owned vacation rentals within this gated country club community of homes, villas, and condominiums.  Please inquire regarding the pet policy of the vacation rental when booking.


RIU Palace & RIU Antilles Resorts Aruba

Only certified service dogs are permitted.  Inquire for rules and restrictions.

Pets are welcome under the following conditions:

Pet Cleaning Fee: a non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $150.00 per stay will be charged to prior to check-out to cover the cost of additional and necessary cleaning in preparation for our next guest. If room fumigation is required due to the pest infestation, an additional fee over and above the cleaning fee will apply.

2. Acceptable Pets (Service animals are not considered pets, and guests traveling with them are not required to complete the pet form.) All well-mannered dogs are accepted. We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, biting. excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or urination/ defecation in public areas. No more than two pets may occupy a guestroom. Each guest is responsible for all charges that relate to the removal of his / her pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges.

3. Pet-friendly areas: pets are allowed in the following areas: the outdoor public areas, guest room, and resort beach area.

4. Pet control/containment in public areas: pets must be leashed, caged, or firmly held when they are in all common areas of the hotel.

5. Pet in Room sign: please place the Pet in Room sign on the outside of your door whenever your pet is in your room.

6. Housekeeping: for the safety and comfort of your pet, Housekeeping will enter your room only if: (a) your pet is not present, or (b) you are present and can monitor your pet (dog's must be on a leash), or (c) your pet is in its kennel.

7. Damage to guest rooms and common areas: your hotel account will be charged for the repair or replacement cost for any damage caused by your pet.
