Aruba International Half Marathon (21K)

Aruba welcomes competitors from around the world to participate in one of Aruba’s longest road races, covering the length of the island from San Nicolas to Oranjestad. The race begins at 5:30 a.m.
The course starts in front of Joe Laveist Sport Park in San Nicolas and ends in front of Alhambra Casino Aruba. 

Race start: 5.30 A.M. 

Time Limit: 3 Hours

• INDIVIDUAL 21 K
• OPEN DUO RELAY 10.5 K each (male/female/mix)
• OPEN TEAM RELAY of 4, 5.25 K each (male/female/mix)

Start and Finish Points: 

• Start: Joe Laveist Sport Park, San Nicolas
• Finish: Alhambra Casino & Shops, Oranjestad

Participants of the event will receive:

• Aruba International Half Marathon 2024 dry fit Shirt
• Aruba International Half Marathon Bib-Number with Chip
• Aruba International Half Marathon Finisher's Medal
• Fruit and beverage 

Participation fee:

Standard rate (from December 6th, 2023 until March 8th, 2024): 

INDIVIDUAL 21K (Medal and Shirt Included)

• Local: Afl.45,-
• International: $30,- 

OPEN DUO RELAY (Medal and Shirt Included)

• Local: Afl.45,- Per Person
• International: $30,- 

OPEN TEAM RELAY (Medal and Shirt Included)

• Local: Afl.180,- per 4-person team
• International: $120,- per 4-person team 

Registration:

• Registration and Payment at IBiSA Aruba officially opens on December 6th. IBiSA opening hours: 
  Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. - 12 P.M. & 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
• Registration closes at 4 P.M. at IBISA on Friday, March 8th 2024 OR when the event is sold out. Don’t miss the chance to secure your spot!
• Participation is guaranteed only after making the payment at IBISA Aruba Frankrijkstraat #1 or online. 
   

Registration Process for Teams:

1. The Team Captain registers the complete team at once.
2. One person pays for the complete team (180 florins)
3. One person picks up the bib for the whole team on March 9th.
4. Changes to the team can only be done personally at IBISA.

T-Shirt/Bib-Numbers Pick Up:
Saturday March 9th, 2024 from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. at Alhambra Casino & Shops.

Prize money:

• Cash prize: 21 KM Individual male and female 
• Cash prize: Local Overall winners Male and Female
• Gift Card Duo first place Male, Female and Mix teams
• Door prize Gift card to be raffled between the teams of 4 in the 5.25k division

Awards:

• 21 KM Individual:
  1. Top 3 Overall Male and Female Winners
  2. Local overall 1st Male and 1st female
  3. Top 3 Male and Female per Age Category: 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
      
• 21 KM Duo Team: 10.5 KM each
  1. Top 3 Open Teams per Category: Male, Female or Mix
  2. Age: 17 and up
      
• Individual 5 KM
  1. Top 3 Open Teams per Category: Male, Female or (Mix (1 M or 1 F))
  2. Age: 15 and up

Bus Shuttle Information:

• Finish To Start Line: There will be busses leaving from Alhambra Casino & Shops at 4:00 am to the Start. Last bus leaves at 4:30AM. No extra buses available after 4:30. 
• DUO and team of 4 Team Shuttle: There are special busses taking Team Participants to their Relay Point and Finish.
