Playing Golf on Aruba is already a great experience but participating in an international tournament is even more fun!
Professional and amateur golfers team up in a two-day, 36-hole tournament featuring gifts, prizes, and special events. The Annual Aruba International Pro-Am Golf Tournament takes place at the Tierra del Sol Golf course, a beautiful terrain at the rustic North coast of the island. This event usually takes place in August.
About the course: This challenging Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design measures 6,811 yards from the tips and provides golfers with a desert layout similar to links courses of the American Southwest and spectacular ocean views. Hosted 1998 Shell's a Wonderful World of Golf and Senior PGA TOURS' Aces Championship in 1996 & 1997. 2006 & 2007 World Cup qualifiers.
Accommodations: Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf offers luxury 2 & 3 bedroom condos, suites, and villas, which are located on the golf course. All the units are fully furnished with central a/c, cable TV and plenty of private space.
