16th Aruba International Regatta, taking place Friday July 10 through Sunday July 12, 2026 at Surfside Beach.
The program follows the proven format that has made this regatta a fixture on Aruba's sporting calendar:
Friday July 10 — Opening Event Registration, networking, music, snacks and drinks at the Regatta Village. Participants register, meet fellow sailors, and pick up their gear and goodies in the unique atmosphere of the sailing community.
Saturday July 11 & Sunday July 12 — Race Days Two action-packed days of sailing races across all classes, attracting participants and spectators passionate about sailing and the marine environment.
The Regatta Village will be built on the beach next to Surfside with volunteers, featuring food and beverage services for sailors and the public, and live entertainment. This year, the village will be expanded to two tents to better accommodate participants and the audience.
Race officials will be flown in from Curaçao.
The regatta features a diverse range of sailing classes catering to all skill levels: Optimist, SailQube, F11, Beachcats, Sunfish, Laser, Yacht Racing Class, Yacht Cruising Class, Yacht Live Aboard Class, Multihull, Kite, Windsurf, and — new this year — Wingfoil, an exciting addition that reflects the rapid growth of this sport in the Caribbean.
Aruba International Regatta's Core Mission remains unchanged:
The Aruba International Regatta places a strong emphasis on developing the sailing youth of the region and conservation of the marine environment. We provide young sailors with a platform to showcase their skills and foster their passion for sailing. The regatta promotes awareness about the importance of protecting and preserving our oceans, combining the excitement of sailing with environmental stewardship.
This event brings together sailing enthusiasts, the local community, and visitors from across the Caribbean for an unforgettable experience — exactly the kind of authentic, community-driven event that strengthens Aruba's identity as a destination.
