Strongest Man of Aruba Competition

From Friday, October 7th until Sunday, October 9th starting at 5 pm, Surfside beach will be a display of sheer willpower, incredible strength, trembling muscles, and bulging biceps. Judges will have a difficult task getting to their conclusion during this event. The judging game elements will be Beer Keg Throw, Truck Pull, Atlas Stones, Dead Lift, and many more tough elements. On Sunday the participants are in for a surprise, as they are required to navigate a track during which a combination of various elements should be performed. Athletes will be competing in the following categories: <100kg and >100kg. At the end of this event, a total of an astonishing amount of AWG 4,000.00 can be won. Who will be the strongest this year?

During the competition, Surfside Beach Bar will be ready to receive loads of fans, family members, and friends from the athletes. The beach will be well-lit in the areas where the competitions take place; there will be a special bar on the beach, and DJ’s and a live band.

In total 37 international and national athletes from Suriname, Netherlands, Guyana, and Aruba will be competing for the title. During the event, Surfside Beach Bar will be transformed into the party hub with the following lineup on October 7th & 8th DJ Bradley Fonseca & DJ Edje and on October 9th it’s DJ Bradley Fonseca and the very own Honeypot. It will be 3 days of heavy competition and partying (daily happy hour starts at 5 PM)!
