Choose one of the many sailing trips on Tranquilo, which means tranquility, as that is just what you experience with us.

Tranquilo was founded by Capt. Mike Hagedoorn whose passion for sailing was legendary. So he started taking guests out sailing on the Tranquilo. After 20 years Capt. Anthony, his son, took the helm.

The name of our 43-foot sailing yacht echoes the tranquility we offer you during our scenic cruises. Our sailing trip to Spanish Lagoon is off the beaten path and we offer the unique experience of drift snorkeling. On our cruises we pass secluded areas, home to pelican nests, flamingos and more.

Our yacht features a large, sun deck to lounge on and a comfortable cockpit with a hard top cover for that ever important shade.

On our snorkel trip to the south side we offer drift snorkeling, where you simply float along with the current above the coral reef teeming with tropical fish. Other choices are a lunch cruise, featuring our home-made pea soup, a dinner sail, or any private sailing trip.

Seating is limited, so book early and be ready for a sailing experience you will never forget!

There is just about anything you can do on a private sailing charter. Bring the kids for a snorkel adventure; assist with sailing the boat or take a turn at the helm, deep sea fishing, tanning or enjoying the sunset with loved ones or with small wedding groups. You can even take basic or advanced sailing instructions with tips on boat handling. Private trips include standard open bar, hors‘d oeuvres. A light lunch is served on trips of 4 hours or more.

F&B upgrades are available upon request and the possibilities are endless.

All trips depart from the Renaissance Marina in Oranjestad. We are across from the Crystal Casino (view map). Look for the red sailing boat at the end of the dock. Please be there 5 minutes before each trip for check in. Souvenir T-Shirts and hats are available on board. Gift certificates are available upon requests.
