Divi Dutch Village Undergoes Resort-Wide Renovation
Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort on Aruba underwent a complete resort-wide, multi-million dollar renovation from May 2016 to December 2017.
The response from guests, owners and members has been overwhelmingly positive and the resort has recently received accolades from the media and travel industry, calling the resort an all-around winner! Please see below for a list of all renovations and upgrades.
Units:
- All units, from studios to three-bedroom suites, were completely renovated and updated with fresh colors, stylish new furniture and modern finishes, including:
- Contemporary furniture and bedding throughout, with locally themed artwork and accessories
- Full kitchen remodel with stainless-steel appliances, modern cabinets, sleek quartz countertops, new dishwashers and icemakers
- Stylish bathrooms with modern glass shower doors, water-conserving toilets, contemporary hardware and LED make-up mirrors
- Completely redesigned and reconfigured balconies and patios with modern-style railings and upgraded furniture
- New sliding patio doors and windows with refreshed treatments
- Brand new lighting package with recessed LED lights

- Modern Bluetooth clock radio & TV
- Security-enhanced RFID entrance door locks
- New interior doors and hardware

Exterior: Landscaping and building exteriors received a major facelift which included:
- New roofs and gutters
- Modernized balconies and patios
- New LED lighting
- Fresh exterior paint
- Enhanced landscaping
- New TV and fiber data lines
New Facilities:
- Brand new 3,000 sq. ft. check-in building featuring open-air Caribbean-style architecture with a distinctive tropical flair, a drive-up porte cochère, modern lobby seating with sleek finishes and colorful lights that change at night
- Two new convenient areas with 36’ grills and picnic style tables and benches
Pools:
- Three completely redesigned and reconfigured pools, with one pool adding a swim-up bar
- Relocation of the resorts restaurant to the phase 2 pool. The restaurant was also renamed, Tiki Pool Bar & Grill and poolside food service was added
- New cabanas, palapas and umbrellas for shade around the pools
