La Cabana Associates Convenes Final Associate General Meeting for 2018

The third annual Associates General Meeting at La Cabana.

The third annual Associates General Meeting, shared accomplishments, acknowledgements, appreciation and information, among associates, with General Manager Joe Najjar and the resort’s Management Team.

La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino had just concluded its annual 100 Days of Hospitality where every department shared its commitment during the summer months, with the goal of maintaining motivation, focus, morale and customer service scores high, during the busy period.

The exciting campaign wrapped up during the 3rd Quarter General Assembly.

Director of Human Resources, Tessely Koolman, emphasized the importance of Team Building as part of the resort success citing La Cabana's participation in the 5-Kamp Tournament where the team was able to snatch second place for Human Foosball. All associate players came together during the multiple game tournament supporting each other and having fun together outside work environment.

The 5-Kamp Team Captains were each recognized with a Thank You Medal for their dedication and commitment. A special word of appreciation was bestowed on Security/Pool & Beach Manager John Kock for his extra effort at coaching almost every game in the tournament.

The culmination of 100 Days of Hospitality included a special healthy "Grab and Go" treat for all associates in the "Chit Chat Café," the resort cafeteria

Among the meeting’s highlights Najjar shared that each and every department had improved their performance scores during 100 Days of Hospitality compared to the previous year. The department with the most improved scores was rewarded by car washes, courtesy of the management team, an incentive which stirred a most positive reaction, especially when it became clear that the winner is the Housekeeping Department!

The 3rd Quarter Associate General Meeting came to a successful close. A special word of gratitude goes to the dynamic MC of the day, John Kock, Security/Pool & Beach Manager.
