Renaissance Aruba Becomes First Resort In Aruba To Offer On-property Coronavirus Testing For Guests
Leading Aruban resort doubles down on guest safety and accessibility with new COVID-19 testing facility and complimentary COVID-19 test package.
Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino today announced the launch of their new on-property COVID-19 testing facility and travel package. Designed to keep travelers safe while eliminating additional regulatory hurdles, the premiere Caribbean resort will provide a seamless stay from arrival to departure including on-site antigen testing with results available within 24 hours.
“Since the start of the pandemic, we have been leading the charge with the implementation of enhanced safety measures while prioritizing guest convenience at Renaissance Aruba,” said Paul Gielen, General Manager at Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino. “With health and safety at the forefront of our programming, we know that our guests are still looking for a true vacation that allows them to escape – especially now. With our new on-site testing facility, guests will be able to meet the new government requirements for safe travel without interruption or fear of having to find their own testing location.”
Starting January 26th all international travelers will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter the United States according to new guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The test must be taken within 72 hours of departure and travelers will be required to show written documentation of the negative results to the airline prior to boarding. Travelers may also show proof they have recovered from COVID-19.
Renaissance Aruba’s We’ve Got You Covered package includes complimentary antigen testing for up to two people per room in advance of departure. The package is available for a stay of four (4) nights or more and can be canceled up to 24 hours prior to arrival. Rates for the package start at $332 per night and can be booked through March 31st for travel starting January 26 to April 4, 2021. Resort guests who do not purchase the package can still benefit from the convenience of the on-site testing facility and can schedule an antigen test for $50 per person in advance of their departure.
