Mountain biking & Rentals in Aruba

Fancy yourself a bit of an adventurer? Then the dirt roads, cliffs and natural wonders of Aruba may best be savored atop a mountain bike.

Usually associated with white sandy beaches and luxury resorts, even the most avid of bikers might wonder: “is there good mountain biking in Aruba?” Short answer: definitely! You just need to know where to go.

The island offers a handful of biking trails, ranging from the short (less than two kilometers) and family-friendly Bushi trail, to challenging (more than 15 kilometers and lots of altitude difference) yet scenic trails along the northern coastline.

Mountain biking & Rentals in Aruba

Not great with a map? Or simply keen on discovering even the most hidden gems of the island via bike? You can also opt for one of Aruba’s guided mountain biking tours, with the added bonus of learning all there is to know about the island from your local tour guide.

That being said, mountain biking in Aruba does take a bit of preparation. You’ll need to bring plenty of water, sun protection and a helmet (which is obligatory for riders under 18 and highly recommended for adults). Most importantly: You’ll need a bike. Although avid bikers may choose to bring their own bike on vacation, mountain bike rentals are available across Aruba. When renting a mountain bike in Aruba, you’ll also be provided with a helmet, bike lights and other necessary equipment. All you’ll have to do is hop on and enjoy the ride!

We’re just getting started with the amazing effects Aruba has to offer. Dig into your trip details below to unlock a Caribbean experience that will fill you with sunshine and send you home with a happy afterglow that never fades.
