About

Come to Zeerover, a local fisherman's wharf in Savaneta with the freshest seafood, cleaned and cooked in front of you.

Zeerover is a local hangout that over the past years has become a destination by itself. Locals relax, eat and drink here, shoot pool, and have a great time while fishermen prepare their fresh catch.

Zeerover is located oceanfront, on a fish pier in Savaneta, Aruba’s first capital. Zeerover- a Dutch word which means 'pirate'- is a very casual eatery that serves fish and drinks at local prices. The freshly caught fish is served in 'finger-food' style, straight from colorful baskets.

The vibe here is very laid-back and this place is popular with both locals and tourists. On your way in there’s a counter on the left where you can purchase fresh fish to go, or to enjoy on the pier. While the menu is simple and features one or two daily fresh catches, along with some local sides, the backdrop is a most gorgeous ocean view. Prices? Local. A very good deal.

Our kitchen hours are from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. The kitchen is closed on Mondays. We accept cash only.
